Abstract
After the fracturing and transformation of the low-pressure and mid-low permeability formation in Wenmi Oilfield, the propping agent will flow back to the formation. The producing pressure drop will get too high during the process of sand production and reservoir loose production. As a result, sand will be produced in the formation. To fundamentally solve the problem and reduce the mechanical fault caused by reservoir sand production and the sand washing operation, starting with the mechanisms of sand production and sand control, the fibrous composite and the coated sand suitable for the physical properties of reservoirs in the oilfield are selected based on conducting research and tests. Fracturing parameters are optimized. Fibrous composites are appropriately added into the sand-laden fluid. Sand control is conducted in the deeper formation and later coated sand is added, so as to prevent back flow of the propping agent. Field application shows that the technology has strong applicability, and it can prolong the producing period of oil wells and get better stimulation results.
