Application of coiled tubing pressure sand washing technology in injectors

The injectors in part of Huabei oilfield reservoirs have high injection pressure, and severe sanding problem, leading to frequent sand burying and casing deformation, which affects severely water injection development of the field. To fix the difficulties of high risk, poor effect, and long cycle about conventional and pressure sand washing operations, it was proposed to take use of coiled tubing to conduct the sand washing work. The applications on 58 wells in Jing 11 and Chaheji fields showed that the technology had simple procedure and short operation cycle. It had good recovery effect for long-term sand buried injectors and could decrease man power occupation. The technology supplies a novel method of recovering water injection for sand buried injectors, and it has great promotion value.
