Drilling technique for high angle deviated wells in cluster 0084 of South Sulige gas field

  • There are 9 wells in South Sulige gas field cluster 0084, containing a vertical well and eight highly deviated wells. For the multi and construction technical difficulties of this block in highly deviated wells , it is conducted with geological, engineering and drilling fluid design, and optimization of BHA drill bit are then optimized, and also the trajectory. Through using MWD instrument, the prevention of underground complex is carried out. Finally it is used in field drilling practice, making the well quickly drilled with the mode "one trip to drill first spud, second spud three times drilling", with horizontal displacement of 1 335.47 m, and average hole enlargement rate of 4.09%. When conducting the electrical logging, it is stucked, so the well is drifted two times. After that, the casing can run smoothly to the bottom, and cementing quality fulfills the standards. It provides beneficial reference for drilling high angle deviated wells with safety, high quality and efficiency in Sulige block in the future.
