Continuously separate layer fracturing technology by using mechanical packer in Sulige gas field

  • Sulige gas field has the typical characteristic of multi-thin pay-zones and low production for single zone. The continuously separate layer fracturing with gas well mechanical packer technology was studied and the fracturing-string and supporting tools were developed and optimized in this paper, including big drift diameter K344 packer, hydraulic anchor and 3.175 mm range sliding sleeve core. The new technology can separately fracture 8 layers in one trip, which has been successfully used in more than 80 wells. Field application shows that the technology has the advantages of reliable operation, simple construction, and low cost.
