Influencing factor analysis of fractured horizontal well productivity in Chang 8 reservoir of Red River Oilfield

  • To solve the problems of fast production decline and high water cut for fractured horizontal wells in Red River oil field, combined with the geological characteristics of Chang 8 reservoir, the impact on the post-fracturing productivity by geological factor and fracturing engineering factor was studied, in the conditions of matrix-type reservoir and fractured reservoir separately. The results show that the key factor affecting the post-fracturing productivity is reservoir type. For matrix-type reservoir, the main factors are horizontal section length and the number of fractures. While for fractured reservoirs, the main factors are oil saturation and productivity coefficient, and determining the optimum fracturing program considering the fracturing process and fracturing fluid system plays a directional role to improve post-fracturing productivity.
