Development and application of sieve tube hanger in slim hole

  • In order to increase the inner diameter of the sand control device and realize mechanical sand control in oil gas wells with the casing of ?101.6 mm, a special sieve tube hanger used in slim hole is developed. By separately designing block letter, lost hand power device and hanger implement, the inner diameter of hanger after lost hand is up to 56 mm which is a breakthrough in designing traditional slip packer with limit diameter of ?36 mm. Ground test and field application show that the hanger is easy using, and can immediately finish set sealing and lost hand by putting steel ball and increasing the pressure on the ground. By constructing the hanger washed sand measure in the hanger, mechanical sand control technology and slim hole compound sand control process can be realized in slim hole companying with screen. The success provides a new measure to solve sand problem in slim hole and has broad application prospects in the future.
