Abstract
As the deviation angle of the deviation wells in Changqing Oilfield distributes with a large region, the current directional perforation technique can not satisfy with the need. Besides, the directional perforation techniques need to be transmitted by tubing, indicating the low operation efficiency, high deviation angle demand, and poor process adaptability. Through the analysis on the factors affecting the adaptability and efficiency of directional perforation technique, it is found that the tubing transmission is the key factor, and replacing it is the core of any new techniques. The new directional perforating technology is developed, which is "locator positioning + gyro directional + cable transmission". The technology takes the locator as a benchmark, and realizes setting the depth and the direction, using cable to trip tools for the whole process. The novel technique was tested on 80 field wells, with the success ratio of 100%, period decrease by 75%, and adaption to all directional wells. Therefore, the technology fills the directional perforating technology blank of deviation angle between 15°and 25°.
