Learning of circulating temperature prediction model for liner cementing

  • Liner cementing operation is difficult and risky; accurate prediction of the circulating temperature is the basic premise of improving the safety and quality of cementing. The method of directly measuring temperature is cost and can not reflect the circulating temperature; empirical method and the API RP 10B reflect a regional average circulating temperature; current circulating temperature prediction models do not aim at complex liner cementing process. In order to predict the liner cementing circulating temperature scientifically, according to the liner cementing operation and features of heat transfer, this paper analyzed different motion states of mud and slurry in cementing process, and created a complex two-dimensional temperature model to predict circulating temperature scientifically, the measured well temperature verified the model has high accuracy; the average error is only1.6 ℃.Numerical simulation results show that: For the deep well cementing, cooling effect of low temperature mud is small, and can be neglected; the laws of temperature change in mud circulation and liner cementing are different; the highest circulating temperature coefficient of ?177.8 mm liner cementing is 0.79, and ?127 mm is 0.84 circulation, empirical method overestimates the circular temperature.
