Cement rheological properties in Dina block

  • For cementing operation and cementing quality, it is extremely important to describe cement slurry rheology and the effect of temperature on rheology. According to cementing status and field test data in Tarim oil field, the methods to calculate rheological parameters of cementing slurry is studied, including simply computing method and regression analysis. The rheological parameters of different rheological models are calculated and compared by regression method, and the optimized H-B rheological model and the equation of the temperature effect on rheological parameters for Tarim field are obtained. Since many factors would impact rheological parameters, the general equation of temperature effect could be used to regress the target equation, considering different examination conditions, slurry formula, additives, etc.
