Viscosity reducing and integrated artificial lifttechniques for heavy oil wellbore in offshore oilfield

  • Issues facing the heavy oil development in offshore field are optimizing viscosity reducing and integrated artificial lift techniques for heavy oil wellbore. Focusing on the extremely difficulty to develop the high viscosity oil in Minghuazhen Formation in Bohai L oilfield, this paper has recommended the blending diluting oil technology and corresponding jet pump artificial lift technique based on the laboratory experiment results of viscosity reduction. Meanwhile, thin oil power fluid treatment loop on ground and injection parameters were also studied in this paper. Field application shows that the viscosity reducing and integrated artificial lift techniques for heavy oil wellbore are very effective. The average production of per well is increased by 80%, which provide effective reference to develop remaining heavy oil reverse of this oilfield and other similar oilfields.
