Application of electromagnetic inspection sealing instrument for inject well

  • Separated layer water flooding has been became one of the key technologies for improving water flooding efficiency and raising the residual oil recovery in the most oilfields of China. The sealing performance and effectiveness of the layered sealing packer decide whether a long-term and high efficiency stratified water flooding can be carried out. Electromagnetic inspection sealing instrument is one of the critical methods to examine the sealing performance of packers. Some problems such as the different analysis methods for testing information, the interpretation differences for graphics have effected the inspection and judgment for packer sealing. The mechanism of electromagnetic inspection seal, analysis method of testing data and graphics features are discussed in this paper. With emphasis on the confronting problems during the electromagnetic system sealing process, it provides a better inspection method for quickly and accurately etermining the information, to ensure the accuracy of data analysis.
