Example analysis and technical measures for wells interference in adjustment well fracturing

The Shaximiao formation in Xinchang is one of the mian gas reservoirs in southwest oil gas field, which made a positive contribution to increase and to maintain yields of this field. At present, the gas reservoir has entered middle and later stage of field development, and well pattern infill or adjustment and fracturing stimulation have been took to maintain stable and high production. With the development of well pattern infill and adjustment, wells interference has became an increasing problem. Aiming at the high failure of fracturing stimulation, operation parameters optimization technology in infill and adjustment well has been explored to optimize the target half fracture length, gravel input scale, ahead fluid proportion, mean sand proportion, and delivery capacity and so on. During the fracturing operation in seven wells such as Well CX606, success rate can be up to 100%, with no well interference. The favorable production increasing has provided an effective technical measure for infill adjustment well fracturing in Shaximiao group Xinchang gas reservoir.
