Research and application of fracturing technology for dual-media reservoirs with low-permeability

  • Lishuwa area in Xiaermen oilfield is a reservoir with low porosity and permeability, exists different kind of natural fractures as intrabed shrinkage joint and breaks in gravel, indicating apparent characteristic of dual-media reservoir. Excessive loss of fracturing fluid and early sand block resulted from natural fractures restricts the development of the oil field. The problem as early sand block of the reservoir during fracturing is solved by the technologies including multi-small test technology, multi-stage loss reducing technology with powder earthenware, multi-stage sand addition with varying volume,fractional bridging sanding technology with proppant agent slug, spiral sand addition and optimization of fracturing parameters. Large oil stream or commercial oil flow was obtained for 5 wells/times after fracturing. It provides significant foundation of reserve upgrade for Lishuwa reservoir.
