Research and application of drilling waste management information system

Nowadays the disposal methods of drilling wastes have become more mature. What needs to do now is not to treat the drilling wastes alone, but the cradle-to-tomb management of drilling wastes. It is based upon such requirement that the drilling waste management information system has been established. The system provides valuable information to managerial personnel by collecting, storing and analyzing the cradle-to-tomb waste management information. Based upon the complete and integrated database, it is a comprehensive information service system integrating information management system（IMS） with global positioning system（GPS）, geography information system（GIS）, radio frequency identification （RFID）, general packet radio service（GPRS）and database management system（DBMS）. The system provides a management platform for the cradle-to-tomb management of drilling wastes.
