Stimulation technology to reduce formation flow resistance

  • In view of such problems as high injection pressure and insufficient injection allocation during injection in low-permeability oilfields in China, the technology to reduce resistance and augment injection by water-based nanometer polysilicon is studied and applied. It injects water-based nanometer materials for reducing resistance and augmenting injection into oil layer in a suitable way, so as to reduce flow resistance. This paper elaborates the application mechanism of nanometer polysilicon in water injection wells in oilfields, its core laboratory test and well selection principle, and its application in injection of water and sewage. Through applied analysis, it is shown that the technology remarkably increases injection and reduces injection pressure of injection wells, laying a basis for industrial transformation and large-scale application of nanometer polysilicon materials.
