Study on productivity prediction of horizontal wells with perforation completion and its application

  • Horizontal well productivity prediction is the basis for reservoir engineering analysis and oil extraction process design. The semi-analytical method is used for perforation completion of horizontal wells in sandstone reservoir, reservoir percolation is coupled with wellbore flow based on setting up a reservoir percolation stress response model and a wellbore flowing pressure loss model are established, so as to predict the productivity of horizontal wells with perforation completion. Through on-site instances verification, the error rate between prediction and actual conditions is 5.89%. Reasonable production pressure difference could be determined with regard to regulated quota of production. And it provides scientific and theoretical basis for the selection of completion parameters of sandstone reservoir and the optimal design of perforation.
