Technology of water control and well completion of horizontal wells in bottom water reservoir in Dagang Oilfield

The probleum of bottom water coning appears during the development of horizontal wells in bottom water reservoir, as a result the speed of water cut increases and the water free oil production period gets shortened. To solve the problems, distribution law and water controlling mechanism of fluid production profile of horizontal section are analyzed, and the Horizontal well completion technology with sectional water control is studied. Two types of sectional water control completion strings with different packers are developed; multivariable parameter design of screen pipes is fulled. Stable production and water control are fulfilled through reasonable control of initial drawdown pressure, providing experience for development of oil wells of the same type.
