Development and application of a self-synchronization and balanced elliptical motion shale shaker excited by backward elliptical vibrating forces

  • Employing backward elliptical vibrating forces, a new type of a self-synchronization and balanced elliptical motion shale shaker is developed. This shale shaker employs the principle of self-synchronization and the concept of small amplitude and high frequency. The optimum balanced elliptical motion is obtained. And the shale shaker is characterized by the special composite spring, the multifunctional buffering box, the height limit plate of screen end, the baffle board to prevent short circuit and the front splash shield. Field application shows that using the backward elliptical vibrating forces more particle clusters can be formed, and the screen can be cleaned by the particle cluster. So screen blinding and particle penetration can be reduced. Compared with linear shakers with the same size the flow capacity could be increased by more than 30%. And the shale shaker can greatly improve the quality of solid control with its steady running, more exactly balanced elliptical motion, large flow capacity, more dry cuttings, long screen life and low noise.
