Finite element analysis on the comprehensive factors of slotted liner collapsing strength

  • The important issue of appropriate slotted liner design is determining the collapsing strength changing trend of the slotted liner under different parameters. Steric mechanical model of slotted liner strength was established with different parameters as per elastoplasticity finite element method by using CATIC software. Finite element analysis on the comprehensive factors of slotted liner collapsing strength can be completed through changing any size input in the model. The results show that the primary effect factor of slotted liner collapsing strength is the length of slots, with same amout of slots and same slot width, slotted liner collapsing strength decreases as the length of slots increasing, the decreasing rate vary with different slot length. The slots space has a little influence on the collapsing strength of the slotted liner if other parameters are same. The research results provide theoretical criterion for slotted liner designing parameters selection and working life improvement.
