Application of systematic PCM screw pump technology to Yaerxia Oilfield

  • The strata of Yaerxia Oilfield supplies insufficient fluid and its dynamic fluid level is 1896m on average.The viscosity of crude oil increases in some oil wells due to degasification,emulsification,and paraffinning,which influences the normal production of conventional sucker rod pumps.To solve this problem,the systematic production technology using French PCM screw pumps is introduced,of which the maximum displacement is 1000 m3/d and the maximum delivery head can reach 3000 m.This paper introduces the composition,operation principle,main technical indexes,and well selection conditions,analyzing the characteristics of the technology.Two types of screw pumps with their delivery head being 2000 m and 2600 m respectively are selected and applied to four wells.The maximum pumping depth is 2109 m.Therefore,the difficulties in oil well production are overcome,which provides a new effective solution to deep well production.The emphasis for future work is how to apply PCM screw pump to deeper wells and to prolong the maintenance-free period of oil wells.
