Application of overseas flexible expandable tubular techniques in Shengli Oilfield

Flexible expandable tubular techniques were applied in the fields of drilling and completion with technical development in the petroleum industry.By applying this technology,casing program can be improved and hole size can be enlarged,and it is also favorable for the following drilling and production operations.Shengli Oilfield introduces three types expandable tubular,ABL slotted expandable tubular manufactured by Weatherford Company,solid expandable tubular manufactured by Shell and Halliburton joint-stock Enventure company,corrugated expandable tubular manufactured by Russia Tatneft company.The three technoligies have different using effect,and the theory,technology and operation methods of flexible expandable tubular techniques are recited and analyzed.
