Study on methyl glucoside drilling fluid system

This paper studied on the function and mechanism of methyl glucoside,and then design the methyl glucoside drilling fluid system.The laboratory experiment results show that the optimal formulation have good rheology,inhibition,high tolerance to contaminations.Besides,this drilling fluid system perform excellent reservoir and environment protecting properties.The return permeability of the methyl gulucoside drilling fluid can be as high as 90%.
