FAR-OFF-WELLBORE CHANNELING TREATMENT TECHNOLOGY AND ITS APPLICATION IN FUYU OILFIELD

  • In order to treat severe water channeling in Fuyu Oilfield,a far-off-wellbore channeling treatment technology was developed,including candidate selection,agent volume calculation and maximum agent injection pressure determination.Candidates were determined through in-detail analysis of injector-producer correlations.based on the laws governing agent mitigation in formation,a new and practical plugging agent volume computation method was established with considering of factors such as oil-water viscosity ratio,relative permeability to oil and water,water cut and formation heterogeneity,a model for plugging agent injection pressure design was also established.The application of this technology in Fuyu Oilfield led to large incremental oil and at the same time water cut was declined,this research indicated great effectiveness in treating water channeling of this technology.
