SPECIAL QUICKSET CEMENT CEMENTING SHALLOW VISCOUS RESERVOIR WITH LOWER TEMPERATURE

  • The technical key and the problems concerning cementing a shallow well at borehole static temperature of 18℃ (BHST) was analyzed.By sinter raw of high silica ratio and high alumina ratio with crystal seed and flux,special cement with characteristics of quickset and high early strength,for cementing lower-temperature well was proposed in this paper.The experimental findings and applications indicated that the slurry of special quickset cement shown not only significant early compressive strength both also accelerated set time.In addition,other engineering properties of the slurry also satisfied shallow formations of lower temperature.The cement was applied in 9 wells and showed excellent cementing quality of 77.8% both in the bond interfaces of the first and the second in Taobao oilfield of viscous crude.
