  • There is elastic vibration for all rod pumping well because of rod mass loading and fluid mass loading, those elastic vibration rule can be showed by indicator diagram. Studied the relationship of elastic vibration of rod and working conditions of pump, proposed a method to analyze indicator diagram, calculate parameters such as swab rate, depth of plunger and depth of break by elastic vibration rule.
