LOW-DENSITY AND HIGH STRENGTH CEMENT SLURRY’S TECHNOLOGY USED IN PRODUCTION CASING CEMENTING OPERATIONS

  • The serious problem for ordinary low density cement slurry to cement production casing is lower cement stone compressive strength, high fluid free volume, bad slurry stability etc., it can not meet the demand of production casing cementing operations. To protect oil and gas formation and enhanced the cementing quality, by deepening research and taking new technology, optimizing cement, mix-up material and additives, the new high strength low-density slurry system was developed. In addition, by taking new technology, enhancing technical method, successfully overcame a series of problems during the production casing cementing operations. By used over 40 different production casing cementing include China No. 1 scientific exploration well, deep wells which over 4000 meters, coal bed methane wells and shallow viscous oil well’s cementing operations, once cementing successful rate was 100%, quality excellent rate was 90.5%, achieved the satisfied results.
