DESIGN METHOD OF BEND HOUSING STEERABLE DRILL TOOL

  • During directional drilling design and construction,it is necessary that choice and design bottom hole assembly rely on build-up rate.To bend housing steerable drill tool,the structure parameter of drill tool is key influence factor of build-up rate. The relation of structure parameter and build-up rate can be frank reflect by geometry method, and the method stands out the key factor influences build-up rate of the tool,calculation method simple, and calculation precision does satisfy engineering requirement,is a avail able method to design bend housing steerable drill tool. Calculation formula does not dispose approximately,is a exact explain of geometry method.At last,according to the different design claims,enumerate method and iteration of steerable drill tool is designed,and give some design exemples in different conditions.
