DRILLING AND COMPLETION TECHNIQUE OF SHORT DISPLACEMENT, SHALLOW VERTICAL DEPTH HORIZONTAL WELL WITH REVERSED-TICK TYPE WELL TRAJECTORY

  • The Well Huan127-Ping2 is the first horizontal well with technical casing perforation completion, with shallow reservoir. As to the surface condition limits, the horizontal section entered the target 192.61 m, which is the shortest displacement entering the target over the years for Liaohe Oilfield horizontal wells. To satisfy the needs of reservoir geology development, drilling operation adopts the reverse type technique. The horizontal reservoir section drilling and development is completed successfully through the over than 40 m back displacement. During the operation, the well hole is safe and the setting of casing was carried out smoothly. It is the first horizontal well in Liaohe Oilfield that puts the reversed-tick type well trajectory drilling technique into practice. The well track control is very difficult because the drilling technique in reversed track section is complicated, the operation difficulty is high, the well track control accuracy is high and the geologic strata are also complex. The engineering design, geology design, main technique difficulty, operation general situation, well track measurement and control technique of the well are introduced. Practice testifies that practice of this kind of reverse well track type project is feasible for the drilling and development of short displacement, the shallow vertical depth horizontal well.
