  • This study introduces a new technique of plug removal coring developed by Shengli Oil field in recent years especially. This technique can resolve 1~2 times of core block-off problems during coring operation, and it has the practical function. Expound its structure and the observation of both lab and field experiments briefly. The tool construction is feasible and confirmed by the lab and field tests. It benefits single run footage and improves core recovery.
