APPLICATION OF BULGED TUBE TECHNOLOGY IN TONG61-CE162 WELL

  • The bulged tube is a new product of casing family that was developed in last century 90’s. Because of low carbon content, the bulged tube is more flexible than common casing, and has stronger plasticity, primarily used for optimizing the hole structure of deep well, and handles well collapse, plugging lost-circulation zone in high pressure layer or low pressures and repair the damage casing in the well, enlarge the drainage area of producing pay under the certain diameter of open hole. Though the mechanical methods of well sidetracking, reaming hole, running bulged tube, well cementing, tube expanding etc. in Tong61-Ce162, make tube body take place permanent plastic deformation, and the well completion pipe string drainage area enlarges 77.51% than the common casing string, and the production raise 109.37% than the old well in last phase. This shows that, bulged tube technology has vast application prospect.
