PLUG INTERPRETATION MODEL FOR SINGLE WELL CHEMICAL TRACER MEASURING RESIDUAL OIL SATURATION

  • The technology of single well chemical tracer measuring residual oil saturation is a kind of measuring methods with high accuracy. It has the ability of deep inspection depth and the ability to control inspection depth. Proved though laboratory tests, tracer’s measuring accuracy is 2%~3% pore volume, which can meet the requirements of waterflooding development of mature oilfields and evaluation of tertiary recovery. The paper puts forward plug injection interpretation model in the first time, which can be applied into field tests interpretations on underground tracer belt without outstanding drift in monolayer and during the time of shut-in. The model is considered of the condition of test plug injection and the emendations of secondary tracer in injection fluids. Appling of this interpretation model can reduce inspection cost and improve interpretation accuracy.
