IMPACT OF FREQUENCY OF ULTRASONIC ON RHEOLOGICAL PROPERTY OF POLYMER SOLUTION

  • The idea of sound rheology is put forward. By means of the ultrasonic acting polymer solution experiment finishod in the laboratory, The experiment results show that the rheological property of polymer solution can be changed by means of ultrasonic is introduced. According to experiment, the variety of rheological property of the polymer solution with the ultrasonic will be great, and the changed extent of rheological property depends upon the acting frequency. The changed rheological property conforms to the Carreau pattern. The way of making sure the parameters such as μ∞, n, μ0, γb and the relation between the parameters and the acting frequency in Carreau pattern are obtained. The empiristic formula shown the relation between the equivalent viscosity and the acting frequency is found by regressing analysis, then the forecast pattern of the equivalent viscosity of the polymer solution acted by ultrasonic. The achievement is that a new way changing rheological property of polymer solution is given, which can be served in the oilfield.
