LONG TERM FRACTURE CONDUCTIVITY OF FRACTURING PROPANT

  • The performance of long - term fracture conductivity of fracturing propant is critical for the success of fracturing job, and it is very important to obtain the conductivity test data for predicting the fracturing results. Tests were conducted on the conventional fracturing propants to determining their long - term conductivity performance, and their conductivity changing tendency in long term is obtained. It is suggested that by dropping the closing pressure of the fractured formation,using propants of lower breaking rate, minimizing the fine powder and improving the size homogeneous degree, and increasing the sand distribution concentration, the fracturing design can be optimized and the fracturing result can be better predicted.
