THEORETICAL PREDICTION AND TEST STUDY OF INJECTION WATER SCALING IN BLOCK CHUN-2

  • Sealing tendency prediction of oilfield injection water is one of the technical difficulties in oilfield development. Theoretical prediction and test study were conducted aiming at solving the problem of water injection pressure rise during water flooding development in Block Chun- 2. Results showed that the injection water has poor compatibility with formation fluid, and core absorption of calcium and magnesium ions or severe inorganic sealing contribute as the main cause of injection pressure rise.
