METHOD TO DETERMINE THE REASONABLE SUBMERGENCE PRESSURE OF SUCKER ROD PUMPS

Based on the importance and some improper understandings about the submergence pressure of sucker rod pumps,the relationships between submergence pressure and fluid pressure in pump and the correlation which calculates the pressure loss through the intake valve are discussed.And a method to determine the working parameters and the rational submergence pressure in order to ensure the oil lifting efficiency highly is also established.The result shows that the reasonable submergence pressure of the oil well depends on the reservoir characteristic,oil producing rate,working parameters and fluid property and so on.And these factors effect each other.Accordingly,the determination of the reasonable submergence pressure of pump depends on the harmony of every producing subsystems of the oil well.The dynamic simulative analysis is necessary that must be aimed at the condition of the oil well.It can improve the system efficiency and the economic benefit of the oil well.
