REVIEW OF HORIZONTAL DRILLING TECHNOLOGY IN THE THIN RESERVOIR OF SHENGLI OILFIELD

Horizontal drilling in the thin reservoir is extremely difficult as the thickness of the target zones is only about 1m.In combination with the field drilling of Well Ying 31-P1 in Shengli Oilfield,and based on the characteristics of thin reservoir,the auxiliary drilling techniques were summarized from such aspects as drilling engineering design,drilling techniques and measurement technology,etc.These technologies have been applied in more than 30 wells with remarkable economic benefits achieved.
