PREVENTION TECHNOLOGY FOR PUMPING WELL OFFSET FRICTION

  • The rod and pipe offset friction in the pumping well in Sazhong Oilfield becomes severer and severer since the beginning of polymer flooding,and this causes the increase of production cost and decrease of economic benefits.By analyzing the mechanism of the offset friction based on large scale of study and test,the two influencing factors of polymer solution on sucker rod system is determined,i.e.,the normal force and downward resistance.Based on the study,prevention measures are applied,e.g.,using the large flow three-stage pump,through well centralizing,universal rod size,routine rotating of sucker rod.This technology has been used for two years and the results were remarkable.
