DEVELOPMENT AND APPLICATION OF MULTIFUNCTIONAL STRING IN HIGH ANGLE WELL

  • Presently the Offshore Petroleum Exploitation Company carry out platform exploitation by widely using high angle well,and this will bring about some problem.High angle well is complicated deep and long,and has long well track.Friction will occur between the sucker rod and tubing,and there will be serious wear on both rod and tubing,and the serious partial wear will affect regular production of wells and pump inspection cycle.Meanwhile the deposition of metal cuttings produced by wear and accumulation of contaminants inside the borehole will produce large pieces of block with high hardness,and that will cause some production accidents,such as pump sticking,etc.In accordance with this problem,we develop rotating technique of sucker rod and magnetic pump protectors in deviated well and successfully install multifunctional production string in high angle wells.Through field application,this technique has gained good results,therefore the problem of partial wear has been resolved.
