CEMENTING TECHNOLOGY FOR WINDOW MILLED AND SIDETRACKED SLIM HOLE

  • Slim hole sidetracking and window milling technology is one of the effective ways to cut down the comprehensive drilling cost and improve oil production rate.This paper focuses on the technical difficulties of completion and cementing in the slim hole,and some corresponding technologies were proposed for solving these problems.These technologies were field used in over ten wells in such oilfields as Tuha,Zhongyuan,and Liaohe,with satisfactory results obtained.The cementing program designed based on these technologies was proved to be advanced and suitable for field operation,and the ?101.6mm and ?88.9mm series liners were more reliable and applicable.At the same time,these technologies have improved the cementing quality and cut down the drilling cost.
