IMPROVING THE 177.8mm LINER CEMENTING QUALITY IN HORIZONTAL WELL

  • well enhances the production greatly in Tahe Oilfield, while due to the poor cementing quality of the φ177.8mm liner in horizontal wells, the evaluation and development work is negatively influenced.In the cemented five wells, the acoustic amplitude logging of only one well was up to standard.To solve this problem, monographic study on φ177.8mm liner cementing was conducted by the Engineering Supervision Center.Cement slurry system of effective oil-containing drilling fluid displacement efficiency was optimized by laboratory tests, and reliable downhole tools were selected with suitable operating parameters;measures for ensuring the proper casing setting location were also planed.Tests in 6 wells were very successful, the cementing quality of all the wells was up to standard and half of wells achieved excellent quality.
