LINER CEMENTING TECHNOLOGY IN WELL ZE 74-1X

  • Well Ze 74 1X is a five sectional directional well s idetracked from the top hole of the original well, and its profile is of "vertical-building-holding-dropping-vertical". It is an important evaluating well, with a drilled depth of 3860m, a maximum inclination of 41.46°, a maximum hole curvature of 11.03(°)/30m, a horizontal displacement of 574.21m, and 5m into the buried hill. In the ?215.9mm hole, ?177.8mm liner is run to 3859.8m, and the liner string is as long as 1852.49m, which may be classified as slim hole liner cementing of ultra long isolation section. Technical difficulties in liner cementing are presented, and in accordance with these difficulties, optimized cement slurry systems are selected, and proper techniques are applied. The success of this well offers beneficial experience for cementing such wells in the future.
