  • By using the method of multivariate analysis, and combining with real drilling data, an overall and systemic analysis to the drilling process of PDC bit is carried out. Factors of influencing the drilling performance of PDC bit, such as drilling parameters, penetrating formations and bit types, etc. are investigated, and their influencing degrees are obtained based on the model of typical correlation analysis. This study is beneficial for field drilling using PDC bit.
