APPLICATION OF THE EAGLE-EYE LOGGING SYSTEM IN CASING MONITORING

  • The structures, uses and special features of the downhole TV imaging device, the Eagle Eye system are illustrated and its application in casing condition monitoring is stressed in this paper. Logging data of various hole conditions, such as casing deformation, casing collapsing, inner wall corrosion, pore state in the perforating section, borehole scaling, downhole fishes and their shapes, etc. are analyzed using this system. Field using results in over 100 wells show that this system is advanced and accurate for casing condition monitoring, and can be effectively used for downhole condition inspection and production improvement.
