TECHNOLOGY OF OPTIMIZING CONSTRUCTION TECHNICS FOR BORIDE-NEUTRON LIFETIME LOGGING

  • Boride-neutron life time logging technology is the one improved and developing in construction techniques on the foundation of neutron life time logging technology, determining the ratio of movable water in formation and classifying its water flooding status by logging the change of capture section curves due to boride injection and absorption. Reasonable boride injection and optimization for logging-and-injection scheme, fit for various types of wells and layers, is the precondition to guarantee high quality of logging data, also the core and difficult techniques of construction. These are stated as emphases on the basis of related theory on seepage flow mechanics and construction practice, essential principles, methods, and experiences in practice of well selecting, construction parameters optimizing, and multiple logging-and-injection scheme under complex well conditions. Thus, thoughtway and direction of optimizing the construction technique is provided.
