EFFECT OF JET GROOVE CUTTING PARAMETERS ON THE TENDENCY OF ROCK STRESS DISTRIBUTION

  • In accordance with the mechanical characteristics of reservoir rocks, the finite element method is used to analyze the rock samples with jet cutting grooves. Some of the basic tendencies on how WOB and groove cutting parameters, including the groove width, depth, numbers and affecting locations effect the distribution of rock stress. This study provides a theoretical foundation for applying the super be pressure jetting technology in drilling deep wells and ultra-deep wells.
