FIRST FIELD EXPERIMENTAL OF RECOVERY HEAVY OIL USING DOWN-HOLE CATALYTIC METHOD IN CHINA

  • The first experimental of recovery heavy oil using down-hole catalytic method was described in this paper. The results show that, under the condition of huff and puff, with added aquathermolstic catalyst and adopt suitable injection way, the aim of down-hole catalytic viscosity reduce can be achieved. After treatment, the viscosity of heavy oil was dramatic decreased over 60%, and the yield increased above 280 tons. The results also showed that the saturate and aromatic increased, resin asphaltene decreased. The successful results provide a new technology for recovery heavy oil in China.
