APPLICATION AND ANALYSIS OF COMPOUNDING DRILLING TECHNOLOGY OF THE SLIDE STEERING BHA IN WELL SHA19-10

  • The rotary steering technology plays an important role in modern steering drilling, yet the slide steering technology has its particular advantage over trajectory control of directional well, horizontal well, and extended reach well of medium displacement. Oilfield practices show that this technology can improve drilling rate and shorten well construction period. By referring to well Sha 19-10 of Jiangsu Oilfield, the compounding drilling mode of this technology is studied, and calculating of the steering force with the slide steering BHA is brought forward. The influence of main parameters is studied also. Results show that by preferably designing the slide steering BHA, an appropriate steering force can be gained, and its economic benefit is also remarkable.
