RESEARCH AND PRACTICE OF THE CEMENT SLURRY FOR RESERVOIR PROTECTION

  • Based on the reservoir characteristics and the damaging mechanisms of the cement slurry to reservoir, and in combination with the cementing features of different wells and their requirements on cement slurry performance, cement additives are optimized for reservoir protection. These are fluid loss additive mainly contains macromolecule material, dispersant composed of polycondensated sulfides, anti-gas channeling agent of fine aluminum, and fluid retardant, etc. The cement slurry formulations for different wells are determined the refore. The optimized cement slurry systems greatly improve the cementing quality and minimize the formation damage.
