CEMENTING TECHNOLOGY FOR THE EXTENDED REACH WELL, CHENGBEI21-PI NG1 IN SHENGLI OILFIELD

  • Well Chengbei21-Ping1 of Shengli Oilfield is an important scientific research experimental well, and the first extended reach well with a horizont al displacement of more than 3000m on land China. It’s a well with real bottom depth of 4837.4m, vertical depth of 2633.91m, horizontal displacement of 3167.33m, KOP at 1000m, maximum hole inclination of 93.6°, horizontal section of 100m, and a maximum dogleg angel of 41.6°. Cementing in the well is difficult, and many new technologies and tools are applied during designing and field cementing, such as the use of casing friction calculation software, development of hydrocyclone centralizer and non-return back pressure valve, and the optimized cement slurry systems and field cementing methods, etc.
