APPLICATION OF IN-DEPTH CASING PULLING WORKOVER TECHNOLOGY IN DAQING AREA

  • The production wells that need repairing increase rapidly with the development of Daqing Oilfield in its late period, and many wells are casing damaged wells caused by high pressure water injection, geological condition and engineering errors. The number of casing damaged wells reach as high as 6000, which accounts 17.22% of the total production wells, and this greatly impacts the continuous developing of this oilfield. The in-depth casing pulling workover technology, which is very effective for casing damaged wells, is applied in this area. Its working procedure, casing pulling and changing method, troubles and solutions during workover are introduced, and some recommendations on this technology are presented for reference.
